Gambit Drawing: #2

I just finished drawing Gambit again, for the second time. I think that this one is much better than the last one.

I added a lot more detail and made sure that the cards were prominent in the picture.

Hope you enjoyed this post! I'm thinking about drawing Captain America next.... Anyway, thanks for reading! Please comment on and share my blog!! :)

Gambit: Drawing #1

I just finished drawing Gambit from the X-Men. I plan on drawing him again soon, so that I can draw the card that's in his hand better, and also so that I can add color.

I hope you like this post! I can't wait to draw this character again, and add the color needed. I hope you enjoy my blog! Please comment and share!! Thanks for reading! :)

The First "Real" Post

Well, this is my first "real" post since creating my blog, after posting all the pictures of drawings I've done in the past. Here it is:

This is a free-handed drawing I did of an anime/cartoon mermaid. I was inspired to draw something like this from some art I found online that morning. So, I just started drawing, and ended up with this! :)

Tonight, I'm going to start working on another Marvel character (and one of my favorites from the Marvel Universe). Gambit! So I should be posting that in the next couple of days! Hope you all enjoy my blog. :) Thanks for reading - please comment and share!!!

Nature, Animals, Etc.

Hey everyone! This will be my last "catch up" post, where I share my pictures and paintings of the past! This post will just be a combination of pictures, mainly scenery/nature, and animals.

It's a ferret in a Santa hat!! LOL :) This is one of the first realistic animals I tried to draw when I started drawing.

I really like this drawing. Although I can do much better now, I still really like the way I drew the head. It took me 3 hours to draw the head, and then 3-5 days to draw the parakeet total.

This was one of the first realistic scenes I drew.

Mushrooms!! :)

A Great Dane

An Olympic snowboarder

Waterfall

An Arabian horse

I still love this one! It took me a while to draw and a drew it about three years ago, but I still think it's really good drawing. (When I look at drawings that I've done in the past, I look at them and wonder what I could do today to improve them.)

Flowers

A draft horse

I had to draw something for art class, and so I drew this. I think it looks pretty cool!

Open field with mountains in the background.

An African elephant

Walkin' in a winter wonderland...

The creatures from Avatar are called Banshees. I decided to draw one :)

Sailing into a cave

Cardinal

A rose

A dog

A walk on a beach

A swan

Diet Cola :)

Wells Cathedral

A Chinese dragon

A Diamond Back Rattlesnake

A Queztal

A Hammerhead Shark

I drew this dragon and the dragon below free-handed.

A pelican

Waterfall

Dessert wilderness

Teddy Bear!

And from one of my favorite shows, Babylon 5, a Shadow vessel!

Well, that was my last post of my previous drawings! From now on I will be posting pictures of my really recent drawings. Thanks for reading! Please share my page! :)

Painting - A Pastime

When I'm not drawing while watching Star Trek, Eureka, or Firefly on Netflix, I like to paint. Often times I paint murals in a non-profit organization as well as painting watercolor pictures. I am fairly new to watercolor, but I really enjoy it! :)

A mural I did at an adoption agency.

Close up.

Close up.

I put a cardinal above the Comments and Suggestions box, to make it almost look like a bird house. I wasn't allowed to paint the box itself to decorate it... Oh well! :)

Throughout the agency, I painted kids faces along the molding on the wall.

In a bathroom I painted this....

...and this.

In another bathroom, I painted this.

This is the Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. For the submarine, I used shimmering gold paint, so that it glints in the light, and actually looks like metal!! I had to draw the design out on the wall, and paint the each square piece by piece, and outline it piece by piece by piece. I couldn't just paint the entire thing with gold and then outline it with the black, because I would get the placement on everything completely wrong. It took me FOREVER to complete Capt. Nemo's ship, but in the end, the effect was well worth it! (And I would paint this again in a heartbeat if I could - the finished product is always rewarding!)

This was my first watercolor painting. It's very simple, but I like it. :)

This is my second

A sunrise over a lake. Sorry the quality is so bad. :( I had to take this pic with my cell. Then my cat decided to walk on it, and ruined it.

A humming bird and a flower.

Hope you liked my paintings! Over the summer I will be completing more paintings/murals! Please share my blog! :) Thanks for reading!
