Batman

Well, I've finally drawn him: Batman! I have been thinking about drawing this character for a while, and I finally finished! :)

The color in the picture is kind of faded, because of the lighting. The blue is actually much more prominent and the gray is much darker than they appear to be here.

Emma Frost

Well, I drew another character from the X-Men: Emma Frost.

I think that the detail on the face is a really big improvement from when I drew Storm. The mouth is what I have trouble with the most, but I really think it turned out great! 

I've already started on drawing Batman, and I hope to complete that soon! :) Thanks for reading!

Yes... More Avengers

Well, I've again drawn some of the characters from Avengers and Thor. I drew Loki and Thor again, however, I drew the comic book version of them, not the actors from the live-action movie.

As you can see, this first one is Loki. I think that I did a really good job on the shading with this one. I really wanted to draw this because I had tried to draw it in the past I really failed miserably; I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it! :)

Again, I had tried drawing this in the past and I really messed up on this one up too. I decided to draw it again! It isn't the best drawing that I've done, but compared to my last attempt, it is MUCH better. :)

Storm from the X-Men

Just got done with another drawing! :) This time I drew Storm from the X-Men.

I had some trouble drawing the eyes and mouth for this picture... That's something I really need to work on. All in all, I think that this drawing is pretty good. 

But, looking at my last attempt of this character, I think that it's a lot better, and has a lot more character and detail.

Green Lantern

I've been thinking about drawing Green Lantern for a while, and I finally decided to draw him. This was a really cool character to draw, and I think that the perspective that I drew this at is really interesting.

Loki

As you may know, I am very interested in comic book art/characters. A lot of times when I don't get a character that I want to draw right, I keep trying to draw it over and over again until I succeed. Well, this applies to the character Loki from the Avengers and Thor. I have had a lot of difficulty trying to draw this character/actor, but have kept trying.

While this drawing might not be the best, and I know it's not, I think it's come a long way from some of my previous attempts... (see below)

Although I will not be drawing this character for a while, I hope to eventually draw this character successfully. But, right now, I am working on a drawing of Green Lantern.

Hawkeye

Well, I've been drawing a lot of comic book characters lately. One character is, again, from the Avengers: Hawkeye. This drawing was pretty hard, because of the way the arm is placed.

All in all, I think that I did pretty well with this drawing. Although the arm is not placed correctly, I feel that I did a really good job on the face this time...

The Avengers!

Well, one week ago today, on 5-4-12, I saw the Avengers in 3D. One word: AMAZING!! The Avengers is now my favorite movie of all time, and it has recently influenced my art a lot. :) Yep! And you know what that means: more comic book characters!

First, Thor, from the movie Thor, as well as the Avengers. As you can see, I didn't make this picture a cartoon - I took a photo and I drew the actual actor. 

Next, Captain America. I had a little bit of trouble drawing this character's head. Unlike the drawing of Thor, this is the actual comic character - not the actor. 

Lastly, this was NOT from the movie. Rather, it is from the Avengers v.s. X-Men comics. This is the character, Hope, or The Phoenix. 

Hope you enjoyed this latest post. My next Avengers character will most likely be the Hulk, Iron Man, or Hawkeye. By the way - if you have not yet, GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! LOL :) This was incredible, with an excellent story line, great character development, and a good combination of the different characters: no one character got the spotlight, they all had moments where they shined, and they were all crucial to the movie. **Watch after the credits!!**
